ACH Check Conversion

Beginning in October 2009, the Minnesota AIDS Project plans to begin converting checks to electronic transactions, or ACH debits. This means we scan information on the check and “convert” the check to an electronic transaction. As a financial supporter of the Minnesota AIDS Project, this conversion will affect you in two ways. First of all, your payment will appear on your bank statement as an electronic entry and will include the check serial number and the payee (Minnesota AIDS Project). Secondly, since your payment is being cleared electronically, you will not receive your original check back in the bank statement. If you do not wish to enroll in ACH debits or have any questions about the new policy, please contact the development department at development@mnaidsproject.org.
