Transportation ServicesMAP provides transportation services to eligible HIV-positive individuals living in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area for medical and pharmacy visits. The program provides door-to-door rides by taxicabs. Rides must be requested at least two working days in advance. Service is provided Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (holidays excluded). Bus passes are available for HIV-positive persons who cannot obtain a bus pass from other programs. Eligible residents of Chisago, Isanti, Sherburne, and Wright counties in Minnesota can receive mileage reimbursement for medical and pharmacy visits. Some food shelf pick-ups and delivery is available through volunteer drivers. Please contact the MAP AIDSLine at 612-373-2437 for more information or assistance.
