The HIV Action Network connects
people concerned about stopping HIV with local, state and national public policy
actions. If you sign up for the network, we will send you emails to help you keep informed,
take action, and make change.
Whether you are writing
a letter, emailing or calling your member of Congress or state legislator,
keep the following suggestions in mind to make your communication an effective
tool in influencing HIV policy in Washington and Saint Paul!
Be a lobbyist for a day and let your voice be heard in support of honest HIV prevention and other effective policies to stop HIV in Minnesota.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, MAP does not support candidates or political parties. However, we do support your right and responsibility to do so. In order to be an engaged citizen, you need to vote. Voting is one of the easiest, most effective ways to help stop HIV.
